"image recognition" is expanding its area. For instance, Picasa - a google based picture managing tool - can recognize human face. Also, users are able to sort their pictures in group and automatically distribute these sorted materials to their friends.
This tech also includes building recognition. Very soon, we can even know who are in that building and what's their service directly using our iphone.
